Coordination mini drills for 12U players 1/3

In this 3-part series of 30 co-ordination drills specifically for 12U players, Ruben Neyens demonstrates drills 1-10 in this video that can be done to help improve players’ co-ordination skills and also keep them engaged.

It is important to practice specific co-ordination exercises. The main objective of these exercise should be to improve movement; to the ball, around the ball and from the ball. Hand-eye co-ordination drills are the best suited for tennis since they resemble tennis specific characteristics. Coaches are encouraged to train co-ordination using a variety of equipment: balls, hoops, balloons, cones, ropes, benches etc.
