The following Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Tennis iCoach website available at www.tennisicoach.com.
These Terms & Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and the International Tennis Federation in relation to your use of the Website. It is important that you take time to read them carefully.
In case of any discrepancy between the English and Spanish versions of these Terms & Conditions, or any other content within the Website, the English version shall prevail.
The Tennis iCoach Website is owned and operated by ITF Licensing (UK) Limited ("the ITF") of Bank Lane, Roehampton, London, SW15 5XZ, United Kingdom. We are incorporated in England & Wales with the company registration number 2584446, and VAT number GB726079327.
These Terms & Conditions were last updated on 14 October 2013 and replace all previous terms & conditions for www.tennisicoach.com. If we need to update these terms & conditions for any legal or regulatory reasons, or if we change the nature of the services offered, we will post the most recent version here and inform any registered users of the changes by email.
Some pages on tennisicoach.com are free to view, but to gain accees to the majority of content on the Website, you will need to be registered with an ITF ID and pay the annual Tennis iCoach registration fee.
Your Tennis iCoach registration is not transferable and you may not allow your ITF ID be used by another person.
The ITF reserves the right, at its absolute discretion to refuse any registration application or renewal. The ITF also reserves the right to suspend or cancel at any time and without notice the registration of any person who is found to have been in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
No refunds will be made on early termination of membership unless otherwise agreed in writing with the ITF.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your ITF ID account and password details and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account.
You may not transfer your account to anyone else.
You should take all necessary steps to ensure that your password is kept confidential and secure at all times and should inform the ITF immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if your ITF ID is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner to access your account.
5. Your Safety and Medical Advice Disclaimer
The use of the Tennis iCoach Website is entirely at your own risk.
The information at this Website is presented for the purpose of educating participants on coaching and playing of various sports, and participation in various physical activities. No physical activity should be engaged in without first consulting a physician.
Any specific activities, drills, products, or procedures that may be mentioned on the Website are for information purposes only. You rely on any information provided by the ITF, its sponsors and advertisers, or other visitors to the Website at your own risk.
Furthermore, the ITF makes no claims about the safety or appropriateness of any information found on the Website, nor about the results to be obtained from using the Tennis iCoach Website and consequently cannot be liable for any resulting loss, damage or injury arising from any use of any product, information, idea, or instruction presented on the Website.
6. Your Conduct
You must not use the Website in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, the Website or access to it to be interrupted, damaged, or impaired in any way.
You understand that you are solely responsible for all electronic communications and content sent from you to us and you must use the Website for lawful purposes only.
You must not use the Website for any of the following:
- For fraudulent purposes, or in connection with a criminal offence or other harmful or unlawful activity.

- To obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through the Website.
By registering for or renewing your Tennis iCoach subscription, you will be under an obligation to pay the annual fee.
We will inform you of any applicable fees before you are charged for such fees and, by providing your billing information, you agree that you are liable for payment of such fees.
The ITF reserves the right to change its fees or billing methods at any time and the ITF will provide details of any such changes on the Tennis iCoach Website.
You can pay via credit or debit card, PayPal, or other online payment methods that might be made available to you on the Tennis iCoach payment pages. You expressly authorise the ITF (or third parties acting on behalf of the ITF) to charge all Tennis iCoach registration fees and other charges, including VAT if applicable, and including payment transaction fees for certain payment methods, to the payment method you have designated.
Online payment is provided via WorldPay (http://www.worldpay.com). All payment and card details are processed over a secure connection to WorldPay and are encrypted at all times. Your credit/debit card details will not be passed to the ITF nor to any 3rd party.
8. Formation of Contract
When you request to purchase a service on this Website, such a request amounts in law to an offer only to purchase at the stated amount. No binding contract in law is formed until such time as a confirmation e-mail is sent by the ITF to your specified e-mail address in which it is stated that such offer is accepted.
By law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of a service sold at a distance. You must tell us in writing if you wish to withdraw. The time limit for withdrawal varies according to EU jurisdiction but in the UK it is within seven working days beginning with the day after the day on which your request for purchase is accepted by the ITF.
9. Access to this website
Children Under 16
If you are under 16, you must ask your parents or a guardian before you:
- E-mail the Website, or ask the ITF to e-mail anything to you
- Send in any information to the ITF or register for an ITF ID or register for a Tennis iCoach Website subscription
- Enter any contest or game that requires information about you or offers a prize, or
- Buy or pay for anything online.
By continuing to use this Website, you are confirming that you have obtained the consent of your parents or legal guardian.
10. Choice of Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, English law. You warrant that your use of the Website complies with any applicable law in your jurisdiction.
The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England shall (subject to the clause below) have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of, under, or in connection with these terms or the legal relationship established by them, and for those purposes irrevocably submit all disputes to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
The ITF shall retain the sole right to bring enforcement proceedings in your country of residence.
11. Copyright and Database Rights
All copyright, trade marks, rights in databases and any other intellectual property rights which subsist from time to time in all text, copy, source code, images, sound, software, data compilations, service marks, logos, the ITF name and the domain itftennis.com and any other material featured on the Website ("the Content") are, as between you and the ITF, owned by the ITF, its affiliated companies or reproduced on the Site with permission of the relevant rights owner.
The contents of the Website may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means without the ITF’s prior written consent, except as stated below.
You may read, view, print and download the Content for private and personal non-commercial use only provided that all copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices contained in or around the Content is retained, but you may not make more than one copy electronically or otherwise of any of the contents and you may not recopy or further distribute, sell, publish or transmit any part of the Content by electronic or any other means.
You may not systematically extract and/or re-utilise parts of the Content of the Website without the ITF’s express written consent. In particular, you may not utilise any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools to extract (whether once or many times) for re-utilisation of any substantial parts of this Website, without the ITF’s express written consent. You also may not create and/or publish your own database that features substantial parts of this Website without the ITF’s express written consent.
You agree not to sell, resell, supply or otherwise make the Content or extracts or other information derived therefrom available in any manner or on any media to any third party without the prior written consent of the ITF.
12. Warranties & Liabilities
The ITF will not be liable to you through your use of the Website in respect of the following:
- direct or indirect business losses (including without limitation economic loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, loss of reputation);
- indirect, special or inconsequential loss;
- any loss (whether direct or indirect) arising from events outside of our control;
- any loss (whether direct or indirect) in respect of loss of or corruption of data, database or software.
The ITF gives no warranty, expressed or implied, that the Website will function and be accessible at all times correctly as intended.
The Content may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors. The ITF makes no warranty that any statements or text within this Website is accurate and accepts no liability for any lack of accuracy therein.
You accept that the ITF gives no warranty whatsoever that use of this Website, including engaging in email correspondence with the ITF and others and the downloading of files, will not expose your hardware and/or software to computer viruses, or worms, Trojan horses or other code of a damaging nature. It is your responsibility to put in place appropriate protections.
The ITF accepts no responsibility for the content and functioning of other websites that you may access through this Website or which are linked to this Website, nor does the ITF endorse the content of such other sites.
Any failure by the ITF to enforce any of its rights under these Terms & Conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any of its rights herein.
The waiver by the ITF of a breach or default of any of the obligations hereunder by you shall not be construed as a waiver of any succeeding breach of the same or other obligations nor shall any delay or omission on the part of the ITF to exercise or avail itself of any right power or privilege that it has or may have hereunder operate as a waiver of any breach or default by you.
