From Grand Slams to Gold Medals and World Champions, Ann Quinn has a long track record of creating winners. She was formerly the National Director of Coach Education for Tennis Australia and the Head of Sports Science and Innovation for the Lawn Tennis Association. Now Ann is the Director of Quintessential Edge based in London, UK where she coaches athletes and executives to achieve their quintessential potential as well as speaking and consulting to companies around the world. Tennis has always been a passion and she travelled on the Tour training professional players, including Pat Cash and Pat Rafter for more than ten years. More recently her wheelchair tennis players have won more than 15 Grand Slams. She has also lectured on 6 continents and in more than 25 countries. Ann has been honoured with many awards including the National Strength and Conditioning Association Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year, Australian Sports Medal; Professional Tennis Registry Plagenhoef Sport Science Award, and the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Award for services to the game in coaching. She was formerly a member of the ITF Coaches Commission for 8 years and is now a member of their Sports Science and Medicine Commission and sits on the WTA Tour Player Development Advisory Panel. Ann has also written, co-authored and edited several coaching publications, including the ITF Strength and Conditioning Book and the ITF Sports Psychology Book. Her latest book, “The Extraordinary Athlete” is due to be released in early 2012.
