Anthony Jeremiah was the ITF Development Officer for the English speaking Caribbean from 2006 to 2013. Prior to this he was the National Coordinator of the Junior Tennis Initiative (JTI) Programme for the Tennis Association of Trinidad and Tobago; Vice President and chairman of the junior selection committee. He also worked as a Physical Education teacher at Amoco private school and held the position of Head Pro at the Amoco Staff and Sport Complex; also at other centers (University of the West Indies, Tennis Patrons Tennis Academy). He played tennis for over 35 years and was a reserve on the Davis cup Team. He reached a national ranking high of 7 in singles and 1 in doubles. Jeremiah was nominated for sports personality Award (1995) in his country. He was the recipient of a Certificate of Appreciation presented by the Lions Community development (1996). He was the first coach in Trinidad and Tobago to successfully complete the level 2 ITF certification in Jamaica 1998 and was national coach for Trinidad & Tobago Junior teams from 1999 – 2004.
